Synopsis:
Anjali contacted us because she wanted to create a web presence for herself specifically focused around her wheelchair racing endeavors. Along with showcasing her as an olympic athlete, the site also aims to attract sponsorship, and provide an easy avenue of communication with her friends, family, and of course, her fans.
Execution:
What we delivered was a fully featured site based on our favorite open source cms, wrapped with a simple yet elegant interface conjured up by our friends over at Spreadgun (http://spreadgun.com)
- Highlighted Features:
- News system which posts the latest news item in the designated area on front page
- Photo gallery system with theme integration. Thumbnails are automatically generated each time a picture is uploaded, these are then used in the randomly alternating 'bar of 5 images' on the page layout, which are linked to the corresponding photo pages
By combining a great design with the functionality and ease-of-use provided by Drupal, we've empowered Anjali with the ability to keep her own website up-to-date.
