DrupalCon is the conference for Drupal users, developers, designers and decision makers.
It is held twice a year: once in North-America around Spring and once in Europe, in late Summer or early Fall. The conference has been steadily growing and now brings together more than a thousand Drupal enthusiasts from around the world.
DrupalCon is where some of the best developers and leading business owners cross paths, exchange ideas, find partners and conceive projects. It’s where community ties are strengthened and Drupal’s future is decided. It's where you want to be to make things happen.
Drupalcon Paris takes place September 1-5, 2009 and features 800+ attendees, 100+ sessions, 3 conference days, 2 code sprints and a day of commercial Drupal training.
My esteemed colleague of Drupal meetup etiquette fame booked a room in our usual hangout, the Morse Institute Library at 14 East Central Street, downtown Natick by the Common, a block from the MBTA stop.
And then he never posted about it here. Or told his Agaric colleagues either. But the meetup is officially on now!
On the topic agenda:
- Communication in a web collective
- Timeliness in all things
- The measured use of sarcasm in posts
And probably some Drupal stuff too, such as a preview / practice run of top-ranked session proposal for Drupal Design Camp Boston on Views 2 theming and a report-back on the RDFa in core code sprint.
And oh yeah... if you come, you can define what we all talk about and what problems we try to solve!
DrupalCamp New Hampshire is all about teaching people new to Drupal, and Agaric is proud to sponsor and be on hand to help instruct!
Drupal 7 Release Party, location to be determined at the Tuesday, Jan 4 Boston Drupal group meetup (held in Cambridge at MIT).
UPDATE: There's already an announcement for a Boston-area party, location to be determined: http://groups.drupal.org/node/111659
I had written that the default location is Agaric HQ Natick North, also known as my house. Instead, there will only be a party there if there's strong demand for an 18-mile West of Boston meetup. Also if the D7 release is in January, rather than December as expected, there'll be a mini spontaneous party in Natick.
