FreeCycle Yahoo-groups only?

The Framingham Freecycle group is a part of the larger Freecycle Network. To the best of my knowledge all approved Freecycle groups use Yahoo, and the Framingham group would not make a move unless the rest of Freecycle decided to transition to a new platform. For more information on the overall Freecycle organization, please visit http://www.freecycle.org/

Feedback on proposal from Stephen Cataldo

1. Do you have a server that can handle all the video action on the day-of, without a smooth build-up, just that day the servers get pounded.
2. I'm not sure about this, but Google maps might have difficulties outside of key industrialized nations, converting addresses to long/lat. Was that what you wanted to use?

Dear friends

About the second topic of today chat

about languages and translations

Dear friends,

Here you have a proposal for the languages and translation issue. Of course, we'll have to discuss it in our next general chat (next Wednesday), but it'll be good to have an exchange this Saturday.

For tomorrow, I think we'll have at least to talk about :
- mapping,
- translation and languages.

But we'll surely other things to talk about...

In solidarity,

High quality of various networking sites, no need for a united activist site?

From [[WSF2008 site specifications v4]]

Again there can be various such hub sites, but the need for hub sites conveying social forum identity is there, whereas the idea of a “single networking site” will be increasingly unrealistic given the high level of quality of various networking sites

Really?
