I think every connection between Drupal and people (and the occasional knight) who are trying to finally get the semantic web built is a good thing.

So I was happy to see where the link went in this e-mail from Calais today:

we’ve released a new web site. While our initial site was adequate for our accelerated launch – we’ve always wanted more and now we have it. The new site (of course, still at www.opencalais.com) has a range of new features to make it more useful for you. You can create rich user profiles, join interest groups, post your Calais-related creations to the gallery, and send messages directly to other members. We’ve also implemented much higher-quality forums to allow you to pose questions and share answers.

Take that, haters– they're bragging about Drupal's forum. I don't know who did the site, but from the other side Frank Febbraro had already given Calais some of the love they're returning with his OpenCalais module.

Cool!

Seeing "profiles" and "forums" in that quote piqued my interest... They're using both of my modules. :) That's cool... and rather scary. LOL! Always a mixture of excitement and a heavy weight of responsibility to see live sites using my alpha code. *gulp*

PS: Ugh, that's one unreadable CAPTCHA. You need Mollom. :P
